Happy National Volunteer Week

The week of April 10 -16 has been designated as National Volunteer week. This week recognizes the significant contributions volunteers make to the healthcare community. The Living Legacy Foundation is grateful for all of our volunteers all year round and especially during this week (and month)!

The Living Legacy Foundation’s Donate Life Ambassador program, LLF’s volunteer program formally known as the Donor Awareness Team, offers opportunities for people with a connection to donation and transplantation to share their inspirational stories and help promote organ, eye and tissue donation in communities throughout Maryland.

“Whether it is by helping to staff an information table or putting together information packets in the office, our volunteers are a vital part of achieving our mission,” said Latrice Price, volunteer coordinator for The Living Legacy Foundation.
