Hi, I’m Sydney the Kidney and I am the new official mascot for Donate Life Maryland! As Maryland’s donation mascot, my main job is to help Donate Life Maryland spread the word about the importance of organ, eye and tissue donation and tell people how they can register as an organ, eye and tissue donor in the state of Maryland. Organ, eye and tissue donors are heroes, and who doesn’t want to be a hero, right?

Speaking of vacation spots, after such a busy Donate Life Month, Sydney the Kidney has decided she needs a vacation!
This summer, from June 1, 2010 through September 6, 2010, Sydney wants you to take her on vacation with you so you can help her spread the word that organ donors are heroes! All you have to do is take a picture of Sydney wherever you go and post the picture to the Donate Life Maryland Facebook page (www.facebook.com/DonateLifeMaryland) for all to see! Note: Posting a photo to the Donate Life Maryland Facebook page gives the Living Legacy Foundation of Maryland and Donate Life Maryland full permission/ownership of the photo for use in future publications.
